Who should play Cathy Earnshaw?

Who would you cast as Cathy? She was described as wild, passionate nature, with brown curly hairs and beautiful dark eyes...
Anjelina Jolie seems to have this passionate look, but maybe too sexi. Helena Bonham-Carter, would be perfect if she was younger ..so, whats your suggestions?

I think Julia Sawalha could play her. She has the perfect hair and the lovely dark "Earnshaw" eyes.

Emmy Rossum has the look of Catherine, but I don't know if she has the acting skills yet. She could do a great rendition of Kate Bush's Wuthering Heights. She has a lovely voice.

After reading everyone's posts, I would have to settle ultimatly on Anna Friel as Cathy. Anyone seen Our Mutual Friend? (if you haven't, you really should, it's excellent) In the beginning her character is rather heartless, but she can be sweet as well. Justine Waddell might be okay too, but to me she gets a little annoying after a while, and possibly Emmy Rossum once she matures in her acting a bit (but i loved her in Phantom of the Opera).

Olivia Hussey has Cathy's look. She has what Cathy is supposed to have in her eyes:something passionate, crazy and childish. She would be perfect, but unfortunatelly is too old.

I've just had another Cathy idea and i'm going young this time, 19 actually, which is good considering that's the age Cathy dies. Tamsin Egerton.

She does look the part. As for her acting, well she is very young so she hasn't done a lot plus St Trinians and Keeping Mum aren't really in the same stratoshphere as Wuthering Heights to put it lightly, but i've heard she's actually preety good. It would be really intresting to see someone who is the actaul age of the character to play her as well. Still having trouble with Heathcliff.

Thanks!! I've discovered quite a few potentail Cathys lately. I can't find a Heathcliff though. Damm my beloved stable boy. lol.Joke. I would love for someone who looks even a little bit gypsyesque to play him. Although, considering the history of Heathcliff casting we're unlikely to get that. I'm having real trouble finding someone who has the right look, is the right age and has the talent for the role.
