I can't be the only one who thinks that the entire "Sam Rothstein Show" sequence had a very Trump-like vibe to it

There's something about Sam and his television show that really reminded me of Trump. I feel like how Sam was introducing and drumming up the entertainers/entertainment on the show really felt like (pre-political) Trump when he would drum and hype up his hotel buildings are various other forms of entertainment that he would have a hand in. Also, the way he mentioned Pat Webb and how he was talking smack to him while on live tv - not unlike how Trump would put his political rivals on blast during his presidency

Did anybody else see the similarities? lol

reply

If Sam is Trump, then who is Nicky? Nicky=Rush Limbaugh? xD

I dont see the similarity. Sam was antagonistic of people who did him wrong (fake news!) and that is similar but not enough for me to see trump. They are different people.

You've got the nerve to continue bad mouthing Trump even after Biden has all, but destroyed this country? Biden is the worst president this country has ever seen. You should be embarrassed!!

Ditto

You need to come out of your bunker and get some fresh air. The country hasn't been "all but destroyed"

Is Trump in the room with you right now?

reply

How does it feel to be so obsessed with Trump that you see him in everything? Even the mashed potatoes on your plate?

You should get tested for your TDS PopMusicFan1927.

You said the same thing about De Niro's performance as Capone in The Untouchables.

I can see that in this sense.

These two very powerful men with over inflated egos are under attack by powerful enemies of theirs, for reasons that may or may not make sense. The people going after them don't really care about the will of the people, or the greater good of society, they just want to bring him down. Most of them are guilty of similar crimes.

While everything around these men is burning, their lawyers and advisors tell them to lay low and stop talking about it, and they will take care of it, and the whole matter will blow over in time. But instead of listening, they go on TV, and not only do they talk about everything they're not supposed to talk about, but they go after all the people going after them. So instead of the matter quietly going away, its publicly dragged out for years, and ultimately no one really wins.

Nope, you're the only one
