Lots of hate, I thought it was pretty good

This genre has been bad of late. Marvel started out good and turned to crap. DC has always been crap. Aquaman and the 1st WW were the only DC movies worth anything. I found this movie to be pretty enjoyable, tho. One of DC's better movies. It was cheesy at times, but acceptable. It was good seeing Keaton revise his role. He was pimp in the Russian scene.

But this Multiverse stuff is already old. I think this genre has over-stayed it's welcome and has gotten old. I doubt it can be fixed. I'm sure both DC and Marvel will reboot all characters and go at it again, and again, and again. Ugh.

agreed. was the CGI shit at times? sure. but i liked the story, felt fun and refreshing, and wasn't a complete mess etc.

exactly Keaton was badass.

DC needs a hard reboot. im so confused what is even happening right now. Do 4 or 5 solo movies like the MCU did before Avengers, introduce and build up and develop your characters first then EARN your ensemble teamup movie.

dont do fucking Superman, then a team up ensemble movie in BVS where you kill off Superman. then wonder woman, then another ensemble with Justice league, then Aquaman.

like wtf is that??

I was annoyed at first by the humor and Flashs coworkers picking at him, but then I mentally attuned myself to the type of movie I am watching. This movie is suppose to be cheesy, goofy, and fun at parts with darker elements thrown in. We got to see Keaton and Supergirl and both were wonderful. I enjoyed Michael Shannons Zod but at the same time understand Michael Shannons thoughts on it ("its just someone playing with action figures, theres no new ground gained from Zods appearance")

I enjoyed the movie as well, and was interested enough to keep watching it well past the hour I was gonna go to sleep.

What did you like about it? Specifically?

I enjoyed it also. Not sure what all the hate is about, really. It was a nice popcorn movie with some nostalgia and nods to fans. And it's nice to see nods to fans these days since it seems like so many projects despise the real fans of whatever franchise.

thank god , lets hope so

(that it CANT be fixed , to be clear)

This was fairly good, the multiverse stuff was handled well, and consistently, which isn't always the case.
The DCEU has had hits and misses.
Marvel was more consistently above average but not as great. Until the past year or two when they lost their way.

Agreed.

Enjoyed it better than Black Adam, Shazam 2 and Blue Beetle.

Was super cool to see Keaton as Batman again.

Just had to put a mental block in place to forget how much of a weird Ezra Miller seems to be.

It definitely has been of the better super-hero films we've received within the past few years to say the least. It was only because of the Ezra drama leading up to it's release that it gets an unnecessary bad rap. Miss me with the occasional bad CGI. If people can completely disregard the low level effort sfx Marvel's been putting out then there's no reason you can't here.
