P.S. I Love You - I don't know, maybe. I mean, generally I'd say that Gerard Butler is hot, and Hilary Swank is not. However, in that particular movie they were about the same level of attractiveness, no? He had that stupid hair (not to mention that he could stand to lose a few), I really didn't feel he was anything special there.

As for Maid in Manhattan, it was more about their behavior for me. She was a little too "from the people", whereas he was so refined and aristocratic - I felt they weren't even remotely in the same league. Nor am I a fan of that ass, for that matter.
Superman: Christopher Reeve could be a 10 compared to Margo Kitter who was Lois Lane..
La Bamba: Lou Diamond Phillips could be a 10 compared to the girl who played Donna who was no hotter than a 5
