Top 3 right wing annoyances we have to put up with ...

I just come here to see if anyone has made an intelligent remark about this series. What I get instead of the same boring people making the same boring comments.

1) I hate to see minorities in movies.
2) I hate to see interracial relationships in movies.
3) I only want to see movies that show naked women.

Happy pride month fag

Have you ever commented on John Carpenter's "The Thing"? Like it?

reply

Bruh 😂😂

reply

So you're gay and want to see more naked men in movies? Fair enough.

reply

No more than you are gay and want to hide it by playing macho moron.

reply

care to link to just one example of each of these 3 "right wing" comment categories?.

reply

you shouldnt be looking for these things.

reply

The 3 things you mention dominate these boards. Bigotry and racism comes from those who aren't intelligent enough to carry on a decent conversation or discussion with in the first place. They're consumed by hatred and can't see past it.

reply

Damn, you are really stupid if you don't understand two of those points (The one with naked women I didn't see that often and I'm curious how is it "right wing".

reply

This site would be a lot better if they:
1) Had up/down vote buttons (like Reddit)
2) Allowed filtering of low votes/points
3) Banned the word "woke". It's just boring at this point.

reply

> 2) Allowed filtering of low votes/points

What does that mean? What is "filtering of low votes/points"?

reply

Every movie gets the inevitable troll, perhaps saying something racist or whatever, and so their net vote score may fall below zero. At that point, when viewing posts/comments, those with negative scores can be hidden from direct view. They may still be viewable but without clicking, they're collapsed and hidden. Likewise, you'd be able to sort posts/comments by score. See Reddit.

Community moderation goes a long way on improving things because sometimes it's not "report worthy", but users can downvote a comment that doesn't add value or upvote something that does.

The problem with social media is the same problem with government ...
there are not enough talented people with good judgement to make them work.
Community moderation is terrible, all it really seems to do is to make censoring
someone a popularity contest.

reply

Turning Moviechat into censored groupthink machine like Reddit - thanks for the horrible suggestion. If you don't like a particular post, feel free to put on your big boy pants and respond, or ignore it.

reply

Just use Reddit!

reply

That explains you a lot.
