Did anyone else get emotional during Robin Williams last scene?

While watching Robin Williams in his final scene, I couldn't help but to say goodbye to him and shed a tear. I've watched his career my entire life and will miss him greatly. What he says in his final moments in the film are fitting as well. So sad.

I went to see this movie with my daughter on my birthday a few days ago and we both cried when Robin did his last scenes for this film. I also cried when Dexter laid down like he was dead. He's so cute and one of my favorite characters in the Museum films. I'm so glad he came back!

only cowards kill themselves

Putting you on my ignore list and hope a lot of other users here do, too. You have no idea about suicide, as the decision to do so is often made quickly and under great mental distress. The person is not thinking clearly which means he or she is no coward.

In full agreement there. Living through the crummy hand life dealt you makes you a damn hero and I for one would like to know G-d's plan because so far? Not going well. And since I am almost the same age as Robin, and lived in a nearby midwest state, was an introverted theatre major who headed to L.A. in 74-and really really would have loved to have share a dead rubber chicken or perhaps a a refrigerator on the bus.But he was rich and I was in the Barrio. With a screwed up back,I do sit-down comedy. What else? When you miss Robin, tape and watch his movies.Buy them and have a search out for them.Sometimes you are in the mood for one, sometimes another. Any I talk to Robin. If he's listening, fine. If he's not, I can clear out a Ladies room pretty fast.

Totally stirred up some emotion I didn't expect to feel for this movie. I'm not even a Robin fan, didn't even realize I would come to miss him.

Very much so but its got a deeper meaning for me it turns out.

Doctors are fairly certain that i got what robin had and i can understand what he was going through.

What do you do and think when your told your minds slipping away and there little you can do about it.

I haven't hit fifty and now have to face that my future is not so good anymore.

What do you do? You learn all about your illness, but make sure it is from reputable sources and from those who, although they will be honest about the unpleasant things, they are still looking for positive things to tell you. Get with others who are coping with this illness, and in that way, you can help yourself cope with it as well. Learn from them and follow their example. Also get with their family and friends. If you learn how the person's family and friends are able to cope then you will be in a position to help your family and friends do the same.

Unfortunately, his scene at the party was a re-purposed shot from the first NATM. It's why you only see him once at the party whereas everyone else is featured multiple times.

AHHHH thats even sadder. It makes me sappy to know that that was the last time I will see him on the big screen too.

Yes.

Yeah not gonna lie, obviously his death made his last speech scene way more sad. Was not expecting that.

Kinda a coincidence that in one of his last movies he gets to say a nice goodbye scene...too bad it wasn't in a better movie lol. Oh well, thanks for the laughs you crazy bastard...

OMG, I haven't seen it yet, but I am going to soon, especially because it was one of RW's last movies. When I learned about his death, and HOW he did, I WAS DEVASTATED! Having lost a close family member to suicide, doesn't help. Just reading these comments about Robin have brought me to tears. Guess I better have plenty of tissues ready when I go to watch this one, as tears will be inevitable. So sad...rest in peace, Robin. We miss you.
