Who was it that the cultists were accusing Joel & Ellie of killing?

I was confused ... who was the leader of the Christian cult guy referring to when he said that a man and little girl had killed?

However that group evolved it was pretty stupid.
All of those folks.
Like their leaders comes walking in with dead deer, while they all think they are eating deer meat.

Are the animals supposed to be affected by this fungus? If so why don't they run into a lot more rabid dogs, cats, horses, etc?

A couple of episodes ago they were attacked by 4 guys. Joel killed one then got stabbed. In hindsight we see that the reason the 4 were so hostile was because they were intent on killing Joel and taking him back to eat him.

I keep watching this show for some reason. I don't really know why. Joel and Ellie both were so stupid in that episode where they ride up and tied their horse to the tree outside the building - IN PLAIN SIGHT.

Do you ever notice that in Movies and episodic TV there is nothing that one can learn in terms of strategic thinking, critical thinking or life stills .... all movies are about people that are for the most part dumber than dirt.

If so, do you ever wonder why that might be?

Yes. That bothered me too. And they left their backpacks too with all their belongings I think. I was screaming: "Anyone can go and steal all your stuff, stupidos".

I was confused too. I had to rewind it and was still confused. Then decided that its probably the guy Joel killed why escaping.

I love how these groups keep getting mad at Joel for killing their people, as if they didn't clearly attack him first. How dare he defend himself.
