Man, he was good in The Edge. Really enjoyed his freakout in that movie. I still remember part of that after all these years... "...but get you in a situation... and you BLOOM! You make me sick!" Looks like he died to me, too. Not sure why, since she pulled in front of him to pick him up. I found it... It was Auggie (2019). Very good movie, as I recall. Thank you for trying to help. :) That's it... thank you, DrexiBickle! Thanks for responding. I don't believe it is any of those... the year should be somewhere between 2012-2016, I think. At the time, I remember both Her and this other movie being available around the same time, and the theme was incredibly similar. The subject that falls in love with the AI was an older man, I believe. Think: someone like Brian Cox, who for some reason, I can't seem to get out of my mind when I think about this movie. But I don't see anything he's done that sounds like this (except "Her" lol). This one is really hard to figure out. I hate getting old. lol I wouldn't say it's admirable to refuse to admit you're wrong, but he is dogged and determined, that is for sure. He doesn't give up. That's about it. It's not much of a discussion. The board is about a movie, but you immediately brought up "woke Hollywood." Where can we go with a discussion when all you've got on your mind is Q stuff? "How woke is Hollywood?" "How unwoke this movie is?" Those are smooth-brain talking points for you and your friends. Good name. How appropriate! I doubt anything you could say is "too advanced." Not everything you watch or listen to has to be filtered through a political lens of "woke." My reading comprehension is fine. You brought up "woke." I'm just wondering why that's even something you'd think of when you think of this movie. I guess we know where you're coming from. lol Sounds like you don't know me at all. Oh, wait, you don't. What's this movie even got to do with "woke", anyway? It's about child abduction, right? lol I'm not. In fact, I'm anxious to see what all the hubbub is about. A better question is how the right have made this movie some type of political talking point. If it's about child abduction, that's not partisan. I think you're lying about blocking me. :) I've not once got mad, but I think you have, stupid. I've retired early and put two kids through college already, so I've already amounted to more than you ever will. Nope, no rights given by God until you can prove he exists. He may, or may not... I'm agnostic. I've achieved more than you ever will, I am fairly certain. I am surfing the web today looking for a beach house to buy. Enjoy going to work tomorrow, loser! I'm not the one butthurt about the statues being taken down, snowflake. lol Cry more. Your tears sustain me. Yeah, she was totally unrecognizable to me as well. Wrong yet again. You don't even know why the statues were erected or when. You can't criticize my knowledge of history when you don't know the basics. There are NO "God-given sovereign rights." That's sovereign citizen talk bullshit. Any rights you think you have, that are not in the constitution, are in your mind only. You're so dumb. Do you ever shut up? The state absolutely has the right to tear down statues. We've watched them do it. Sorry if that offends you, snowflake. I'm far from a fascist. I hate fascists. I know the subjects of those statues were traitors to our country because I've read history. They rebelled against our government. How would you define what they did? Or do you just say "'Merica" and forget about it? We've not talking about erecting statues in someone's yard. Way to try to move the subject off of what we're really talking about (public property, not private property). You only care about truth? Then figure out why those statutes were put up in the first place, dummy. I'm glad you were able to accurately describe "free speech" after I defined it for you (but not before). lol
