true, but compies and styracosaurs won't "conquer" the earth and erase mankind, if they breed. they definately had only one specimen of the dangerous carnivores, such as the t-rex or the raptors ("blue is the last of their kind"). 1.) jurassic park 2.) jurassic park: the lost world 3.) jurassic world: fallen kingdom 4.) jurassic world 5.) jurassic world III agreed. i loved the darker tone. the (human) villains were too grim and cartoonish though. apart from that, a very enjoyable monster movie. also, fallen kingdom nailed the fx shots opposed to its predecessor. it's rising again. now 71% fresh. means i've seen a similar twist in several other movies before. that twist is worn out already, so i'm glad the movie didn't go for that. as for "death wish", i don't think it was worth watching, unless you need a time killer. so being a mistress to a married man is morally as wrong as rape and attempted murder? are you out of your mind? good vs. evil made up dinosaurs represent human hubris (= evil), "normal" dinosaurs represent nature (= good). so fake dinosaurs fit easier into the villain role. well, it's probably the best "bigfoot horror movie" i've ever watched, but that doesn't mean much. it's ok for a low budget genre flick. it has some fun practical fx (you can tell the director has a special fx background). just don't expect anything original from the story or characters. my biggets complaint would be, the movie is overlong for what it is. it felt like it goes on forever. just watched the flick again: at one scene the black guy asks lena if kane knows about [their affair] and she replies yes. so this would suggest the affair had started before kane went into the shimmer. yet, kane and lena's relationship seemed in harmony shortly before kane went. kind of vague... who you gonna call? http://fs1.directupload.net/images/180318/kabnlx2a.jpg yeah, it was a waste of time though. so basically, the flintstones? that's what i suggested earlier by saying "...would take a technological leap almost as spectacular as the organic shrinking invention." it would be like jurassic park with aliens: "look, we can clone dinosaurs, oh and by the way, we also just discovered aliens". see what i mean? good point with client-server architecture, that would at least have been an attempt at an explanation. of course they are given new electronics. but how got these miniature electronics created? to create functional miniature electronics would take a technological leap almost as spectacular as the organic shrinking invention. and even then, these small computer chips would instantly become the new standard in the big world. so if you're used to a certain computing capacity in the big world, you won't be able to have the same computing power in the miniature world when your device is 15 times smaller. see the logical issue? small tv devices created in the big world would have a terrible picture resolution seen from a miniature person's perspective. and the computing capacity of their smartphones etc. would be insufficient as well... have you even seen the movie? obviously not. the movie spends a great deal of time explaining how their fictional world works (hence, what works and what doesn't) - with details such as that dental fillings have to be removed before the shrinking, as they wouldn't shrink and blow the person's head. so yes, i'd expect similar issues such as how they get their electronic devices in the miniature world to be addressed in the same way. if they start detailing their fictional world, they have to detail it consequently. if they didn't want the audience to ask such questions, the writers could have just simplified their own premise by saying they invented a device which shrinks anything, regardless if it's organic or not. true, but the reason why "it needed something different and new" (for someone who's already seen all the other movies) is because the previous installments became so repetitive. to anyone who's new to the franchise, i'd recommend watching the original, maybe saw II and then watch this one, instead of sitting through saw 3-7. you're wrong. https://www.netflix.com/tj/ netflix is availabe in more than 190 countries and they're in the black already, as people pay for the content. their acclaimed original shows such as "stranger things" or "13 reasons why" wouldn't even exist if it was about tv broadcast ratings, as these shows are VOD exclusive.
