I think the most ridiculous part of that scene is Benji attempting to hide the fact that he's playing Halo when his desk is out in the open and he has a three monitor setup in full view of anyone to his side or directly behind him even on the other side of the floor.
It was a dick move.
The stupidest part wasn't just Maxwell dragging the mayor up the tower, but conveniently leaving him on the landing below and making himself a wide open target. Made for a spectacular explosion though.

Tim's schtick started getting predictable and a bit grating. The Wilson gimimick was wearing thin. Randy started getting too sanctimonious for a sitcom and poor Mark was just awful after he stopped being cute.
