It was terrible! Who the hell plays a whole damn match standing inside the service boxes? The player in the white dress must be the dumbest player on earth to allow someone who doesn't even move to beat them. Lol. Just awful.

I came here to see if anyone else thought the horrible dialogue in this film was written by Rob Zombie. I said the same exact thing no sooner than this movie started. The only good thing about this film is the lighting. Everything else is trash.
Necro thread, but I totally agree. I love this Cratchit family the best out of all the Christmas Carol movies. They look the part and their acting was great. They are my favorite part of this version hands down.

I didn't care for this remake. Even as low budget as the original was it is still miles better than this mess.

I watch those programs because I am interested in the subject matter, not because I am particularly interested in Mike Flanagan's wife. She just so happens to be in almost everything he does, so there's not a whole lot I can do about the casting.

Yes, and it is a pile of shit. It's essentially a movie about a crappy relationship with some gremlin looking monster thrown in for jump scares. Oh, and let's not forget the horrible karaoke thrown in with one of the worst songs ever made sang horribly by the male lead(Stay by Lisa Loeb). Do yourself and favor and stay far away from this turd of a film.
Unfortunately, Trump did so much damage it will take decades to remedy it. Too bad so many dimwitted individuals were taken in by an obvious conman with zero intelligence or worthiness of the office of the presidency. Thankfully, that mistake was mended in November of 2020.
I am wondering the same thing. These episodes are made for kids it seems, which won't hold my interest for very long. The incessant rehashing of old material (Evil Dead, Lizzie Borden, The voodoo doll segment from the movie Creepshow) is also tiring. New, scary material is what I am longing for and they aren't delivering. They are blowing it with this series, imo.
