I loved this line back then and still today and I am 52. I am watching the movie right now and that scene always gets to me. I don't think that people get that this is more of a spoof and not intended to be a remake of the original movie. I view this more as a comedy. Wow ... I just had to google the Hayes Code. If Hollywood still followed that code, I don't think they could produce ANY movie. They were really strict back in the 1920s. Nothing on google but I agree with your assumption. 5 Years later! :) The movie is definitely slow, however, I thought Emily Blunt did a terrific job. We sure do compared to other Countries. I am surprised that the US has not invested $$$ in our trains infrastructure. Compared to other Countries that are very dated. Agree. I took it that they both shared a common bond due to their grief.
