Wouldn't mind an even more elderly Michael and Laurie playing a cat and mouse game in a care home they happen to both end up in, should make for a good dark comedy Halloween film. It would also be interesting to see if advanced old age would weaken Michael at all.

This was back in the day when they didn't make a big deal over reboots or creating alternative universes and causing all round confusion. I mean the original James Bond series was meant to share the same continuity despite the main character being recast several times. Just nowadays when a recast occurs they have to "reboot" it all the time. Glad they didn't recast Michael Gough as Alfred Pennyworth. James Gordon I am not too fussed about as he didn't do anything in the original Batman series and wasn't memorable.

I always thought their advanced age would be put down to a flaw in their resurrection. But yeah they don't look too bad.
