Today MovieChat again remembers our dear friend, godewey, who left us much too soon four years ago. godewey (or "Dewey") was a wonderful human being who had quite an impact here from the earliest days of the site, and the many friends he made here brought him a measure of comfort and joy as he battled illness.

I will be pinning Dewey-related threads to the first page of the General Discussion board throughout the day as our members create them or as they bump up old favorites.

Something I've noticed in these remembrances of Dewey is a lack of threads/comments where he posted about his love of cooking, good food and quality beers to complement the cuisine. That was a shared gusto over which we bonded. He often posted about creating mini banquets for guests he was hosting. He was obviously a party animal, both here and IRL, and a connoisseur in that one.
