When I was a kid my mom used to make fried liver with onions, lamb tongue, and kidney saute for dinner. I don't think organ meat is even sold these days.

Did you ever eat these things?

There's a mexican place by my house that has a few tongue dishes on the menu and the ones I've tried are really tasty

I've never had beef tongue except as cold cuts.

I had chicken livers for dinner last weekend. Yummy! Chicken hearts and beef heart are also tasty. I love liverwurst as well.

We used to feed chicken hearts to the cat. he loved it.

We ate the breasts, legs, thighs and wings. The cat ate the heart and liver.

Sweet breads, they aren’t sweet and they aren’t bread so why do they call them that?

I tried liver once at a cafeteria and it was the worse tasting thing I had ever put in my mouth. I had the aftertaste for hours.
