My fave quote from Little Giants is definitely when the kids are at practice and they huddle...Junior says that Becky should run the play and then Tad says he'll do it. They begin to argue and the chinese kid says, "You always run the ball, why can't I run the ball?" And they argue some more. Classic.
Well, i have to agree with that xfile guy... lol, the whole "i wanna run the ball" scenario wasnt that funny.. like, at ALL really... But if THAT's what makes ya giggle! Than by all means dont let ME burst your bubble... :) but the lines I consider to be the "classics" from the movie are alot of the one's said by that lil kid Jake Berman, like the "So the guys at the morgue can identify the bodies" thing, AND the "Don't you be talkin' bout my mama!" thing... I found him, AND his mom quite entertaining. I actually didnt watch this on tv tonight, like some ppl might have. I actually couldnt get to bed the night BEFORE, and decided to watch some old movies, this being one. It's weird how just the next night they played it on ABC Family. But i really liked this movie, i think i mighta been in 3rd or 4th grade when it came out.. not sure. But when i watched it on my own the other night, SO many things made me laugh. I laughed when Jake's mom was in the stands, and he knocked down on of the Cowboy's, and she's like: "Rip those FILTHY EARS OFF Jakester!! Ooo-Ooo-OOo!" LOL, it was just funny for some reason... and i guess it's the kid inside me, but when "Zolteck" said something about "this is for Patterson & Briggs" or w/e, and he lifted his leg up and farted! LOL, i laughed-out-loud... OMG, and when they did that um, is it the monkey bars? I forget what its called, but theyre goin across those bars, LOL and he's the last one to go, and for SOME reason all those kids are still laying where they had fallen (and he gets farther across than any of them!) LOL, and they show those scared looks on the kids faces, and then he FALLS and farts! LOL, now THAT's "classic"... ;) holla if u feel me or have your own opinions!
I definitely feel you...I was just about to make another post saying I liked the scene where Jake's mom screams from the stands. I also think it's funny when she sits back down and looks around cause people were staring. lol
No the funniest quote has to be when Zoltec gets hit by the Icebox and both Kevin O'shea and Coach Butts are examining his helmet and they find a bag of cheetos, and O'Shea asks "Crunchy or Puffed?" and Butts says "Puffed" and O'Shea calls him a wimp. I still laugh at that
I like that scene too. When I saw it for the first time (when I was around 12) I got chills. Totally classy. And of course, it's from the master, Ed O'Neil. He was great in this movie; he's a great actor without the Al Bundy persona. (Al kicks ass!!) But yeah, it was a great scene. It was cool because he was totally fair, and only wanted to win by the book, not by being a cheat.
Ed O'Neil kicks ass.
There's a fine line between clever and stupid, really.
That scene was hilarious!! Especially Hanen's comeback "Because you're slow and nobody likes you." lol.. & then Marcus says Hanen's not invited to his birthday party.
"Do you even remember what you came here to find?"
One funny quote, was when the Little Giants are checking out their new Jerseys, and I think Rick Moreanus goes "look, they even got your names on them" and Jake, the really sickly small lookin kid with the big glasses goes "..so the guys at the morgue can identify the bodies"..haha.
it not my favriote quotes but i like the part where becky and her dad are going to jr's house to see if he na play football and he goes hvae you got a crush on this guy and she goes "'m the icebox i don't get crushes" its cute
i alos like the part where becky is just tackled by junior in pracitce and he says"nice job icebox" and then slaps her but and she smiles and sysa "anytime"....i love it
Danny: "Rudy Zoltek, your local neighborhood GASMAN!!" Zoltek's Dad: "Gasman? I don't get it."
Mayor: "We've got a turd in the punchbowl."
Spike: "And you, fat lineman..." Zoltek: "You rang?" Spike: "Next time get your jellyrolls out of Spike's way unless you want cleat marks up your fat back."
But the alltime classics line(s) come from the huddle argument:
Tad: "Hey Zoltek, why don't you have another PopTart!" Hanon: "Yeah, Fartboy, or can't you open your fat mouth wide enough!"
Good or bad, this is one of my all-time guilty pleasure movies. I watched it a million times in middle school and drooled over Junior. Recently I saw the DVD in the 6-dollar bin and almost bought it! I still have my VHS copy and now I slyly invite my nine-year old sister to "come watch it with me", hehe. I haven't seen it in forever, but the quote that always sticks in my head and makes me laugh? "Spike's in Hell. Spike's in Peewee Hell!"
"How many times I been wrong? Never... Not driving, anyway." Fox Mulder, XF: FTF
Yeah lol. I like the part where Becky and Junior are talking about kissing and Becky says: Well you have to if you wanna have kids and get a job and stuff. and he says u dont have to kiss to have kids. But yeah I was totally drooling over Junior. I dunno about you guys but he was cute.
Classic Spike quotes: "You're mine Pompom!" "Hey ice chest stay out of my or I'll have to mess up your face!" "Spike don't play with girls!" "Spikes in hell, Spikes in peewee hell!" Spike: "And you, fat lineman..." Zoltek: "You rang?" Spike: "Next time get your jellyrolls out of Spike's way unless you want cleat marks up your fat back."
This isnt a quote but did you see after he tackled Jr. he took off his helmet and gave icebox that corny evil grin! HILARIOUS!
when they're in the locker rooms and realize Icebox wasn't gonna play. Rudy Zolteck, "That's it, I'm leaving the country. I'm moving to New Mexico." That part had me cracking up.
*I'd rather laugh with the sinners, then cry with the Saints~Billy Joel*
I love when Priscilla is praying and she says like, "Thanks you for family, and friends, all the pretty flowers, Nickeoldeon, pez, and Mr. Lorenzo, the school janitor cuz he's so hairy..."
I also love "You can have kids without kissing." "Yeah but you can't get a job."
Okay, last one, "Ooooh! Somebody's holding about a pound of Aunt Betty's nut butter!
Okay, I know that I said I was done, so here is the last one. I like it when the old men were talking to Ed O'Neill and the mayor takes him away. The old man is like, "2 seconds?" And the other one says, "To H*ll with the time, you don't even know what year it is!" That's a classic.
i KNOW THIS ONE HAS BEEN SAID BUT I THINK ITS THE FUNNIEST QUOTE EVER!!"GASMAN I DON'T GET IT" I STILL FALL ON THE FLOOR AT THAT PART ANOTHER FUNNY QUOTE IS RICK MORANAS:YOU WATCH FOOTBALL? COWBOY KID:NO RICK MORANAS:YOU LIKE FOOTBALL? COWBOYKID:NO RICK MORANAS:YOU WANT TO PLAY FOOTBALL? COWBOY KID:NO RICK MORANAS:GREAT YOU CAN BE ON OUR TEAM

Commonwealth status was proclaimed in 1952 and has been upheld by various plebiscites since the 1960s. San Juan is the capital and the largest city. Population: 3,646,000.
I know you posted that a long time ago, but I just saw this thread today. When I saw that other person's interpretation of "Annexation of Puerto Rico," I was like, "Are you kidding?" It's very scary when people can't spell right, especially when it was as bad as that. LOL Potorico??? Annaksation??? (or whatever he/she wrote) Jeezis.
