It's like Seinfeld but for scumbags

If you love this movie but hate Jerry Seinfeld you should really ask yourself what kind of person you are on the inside.

Hmmm... Well, I suppose I am a Seinfeld hater, but I love Pulp Fiction. But it's more about the fact that, while I liked the couple of episodes of Seinfeld I saw, I am not willing to watch nearly a hundred hours of the same stuff. Hell, I've only watched Pulp Fiction twice, (5 hours), and I'm good for at least another decade.

I’ve never watched a Seinfeld Episode purposely more than once but I have watched Pulp Fiction more times than I can count.

Well on the surface maybe both Seinfeld and Pulp Fiction look like shows about nothing. Talking about the big kahoona burger, the le big Mac, but that is just on the surface. The theme of pulp fiction is actually Samuel Jackson's character reaching a conclusion or an enlightenment how he needs to change his ways. And what happens? His friend Travolta gets killed in the movie because he decides to keep working for a gangster while samuel Jackson most likely survives the movie because he decides to turn to God. Now Seinfeld has an interesting story structure where every small thing the character complains about eventually connects to a big thing at the end of the episode making the story circular in a way. Even the show end basically brings all the small side characters that our main heroes wronged in some small way to accuse the Seinfeld and his friends and the show ends with them going to prison. So both the film and the show seemingly about nothing seem to preach the importance of little things and being kind to each other.

I've always thought that Seinfeld was about something: how real life can inspire a stand-up comedian.
