Its not very good

As is common in South Park, they make fun of both sides, but there is nothing original here...

Its just the same talking points that im so goddamn tired of hearing all across the internet :/
Some good jokes here and there, though. What did you guys think?

reply

There was a few bits I really enjoyed, like Cartman's acceptance of the reason for why all Disney movies suck being the best of any other crazy reason put forth. I appreciated it more than I laughed it. Which is pretty much what I think bout all later South Park. The side story about all handy men becoming the billionaires cause nobody can do anything anymore was more like the show of old and I felt a more interesting commentary on changing times. I also liked the recurring gag about Baldur's Gate 3 cause that freakin' game has brainwashed all my friends. It's all they talk about anymore. I'd say the episode served its main purpose which was to generate some good memes for the culture war.

reply

Yes it was very good. I laughed a lot.

It was spot on and also very needed in this day and age.

reply

It's quite phoned in.
And not as cutting as it could (and should) have been.

reply

*right wing talking points

reply

The only ones that matter.

reply

But doesn't it end with Matt and Trey offering a self-reflective note "maybe just railing on woke shit all the time is lazy too" or something like that? Maybe this is their way of saying they've said enough on the topic and are moving on.

reply

Moving on to what? There is nothing else going on but wokeness

reply

You could try stop watching disney, marvel and franchise stuff all the time

reply

I already did back in the 90s

reply

So what do you watch now?

reply

Seinfeld, Old School wrestling clips,The Three Stooges and Conservative YouTubers mostly

reply

I did just watch the Last Halloween 1991 as I ate my Halloween feast

reply

I meant modern TV shows specifically

reply

I watched Iike 3 episodes of Yes Dear like 15 years ago

reply

So how would you know about how good or bad modern tv is?

reply

What is this that Lady Ghostbusters Defense?

reply

You see a picture of Melissa McCarthy playing Bill Murray and you start yelling "how do you know it sucks the movie isn't even out yet"

reply

That isn't answering my question. How do you know all of modern TV is bad if you've not seen it? Modern TV is more diverse than a Ghostbusters remake.

reply

Maybe this is their way of saying they've said enough on the topic and are moving on.

I don't think so. There are supposed to be more parts.

reply

I laughed.

reply

I laughed like big time

reply

Didn't make me laugh, but i'm not that familiar with all the ins and outs of Disney and Marvel, so maybe i missed the funny stuff.
