I hope you never get an account to this site. I've never cried at a movie, though I've come close. It's even better the second time. No. It's great fun, but dated fun. What does your post have to do with the topic? What a pathetic post, and I'm not even American. No mention of Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lecter? Kathy Bates as Annie Wilkes? Forget about 1965, this film is just forgotten about it general. I don't think it's his best, but this definitely is a great film. Shelley Winters was great in a supporting role. I thought this was just me. I assumed it was some sort of lens thing. This was reminiscent of those 60's spaghetti westerns where they speak a different language but overdub it, and only release the overdubbed version. Why speak the language if you know you're going to overdub it anyway? This is the version I saw. God bless Criterion. The quality was amazing. Come on, don't be ridiculous. Actually, I want to know the locations for the whole movie. I hate to retort with such a short response, but I think you're looking too far in to things. If you didn't notice it for 10 minutes, then you clearly weren't paying attention. Well that's just, like, your opinion, man. Sorry, but it's no heat. Amazing direction? Really?
