Two screens?? Really? Well I guess real estate is unusually high here in CA, although a little less so to the area where I've moved. Anyway, interesting they have two screens and are showing old movies. Although, maybe this is being viewed as an experimental thing and showing old movies keeps the costs down.
I'm trying to remember the last time I went to a drive-in. Must have been when I was a teen. I remember going with my first boyfriend and it was I think winter. Cold, anyway. I heated up soup, put it in a thermos, got a loaf of crusty bread and some cheese, and a blanket, and we had a truly memorable and lovely evening. Except I have no idea what movie it is we watched 😄
A temporary drive-in makes sense. From what I've heard, now drive-ins use radio stations to dial into, no more of those awful speakers (which people often drove away afterwards with them still attached, oops).
Yeah, I think it's the same here. Makes sense, because parents with kids to entertain are probably the biggest demographic. I'd go if it were something like one of the Harry Potter movies, or something that would appeal to adults too. I think it'd be a fun summer adventure. I'd make something delicious for dinner, bring my dog, and have a fun and unusual experience.
If they draw a big enough audience, maybe they'll expand to newer releases and those that aren't just G or PG rated. Would you go if they did?

My current one does this, as did the one I had before it. It is annoying. It's hardly an improvement on being able to enter 1-3-0 and start or 1-0-0 and start.
Hitting the start button gets you 30 seconds or 30 additional seconds, but that doesn't make up for it.
This is true, not many have written a song about apples to get my attention. In fact, I can't think of a single other person, so you get props for that.
It would have been bad, but not <I>so</I> bad, if you hadn't tapped your foot and sang along. That's what was so shocking 😱
I love those movies, and rate them in the 8s! Raiders may be a 9 or 10. Well MIB1 was pretty great too. Oh, I don't know.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing this as soon as it shows up on Prime :)

I cheated and got a haircut about a week ago. Friend of a friend is a haircutter and I pleaded if she'd ask if she'd cut mine too. It had gotten so bad 😬. We both wore masks and it was in her home. No shampooing, you had to do that at home and she rewet it. I feel human again!!

Until I saw this appearing on Trending, I'd forgotten about this little gem of a film. Saw it a long time ago and it stayed with me.
It definitely deserves higher than a 6.7 rating. It's a quiet film. They don't go over big with the type of people who are IMDb voters.

Happy to hear there's great chemistry between them. That's one of the things I loved so much about the first MIBs; the chemistry between Will Smith and Tommy Lee was great! I was afraid that would be missing.
I only stream anyway, and will see if Amazon Prime has it. Hope so. That'd take care of what to watch tonight :)
