Absurd post ... just as silly as the one on "no white actors in this movie". Many of us on this board judge on the quality of movies, not on skin tones. Plus the movie showed that Daniel came back to rehab when he relapsed. True ... he did not want to do original music, however, his friends dropped him. They kicked him out of the band. Disagree. I think she did a good job with her character. I didn't realize that. I thought the movie was good and watched it a few times. I was surprised at the box office sales but I agree that was probably a huge factor. Look how many times you see a group of kids/teens/adults watching someone get beat up, raped, etc. and they are seen laughing and taping it. It is sad to see anyone revel when another human being is suffering. Yes it was sad he died so young. I remember him on the show Angel right around the time of his death. Kirsten. I think she has more range. Not really. I think she may have the occasional reflection on how her life would have been different if she went to lawschool, however, I really think she first and foremost wanted the family life and it was enough for her know that she was accepted. I just saw the Fly II the other day and hate the dog scene! I rarely watch TV these days. I never got into the whole "reality" TV. I think this series is interesting and shows promise. I agree with one of the other posters. As we get older our tolerance level goes down. We all have different tastes in movies. I enjoyed the movie and have watched it many times. I think it is one of the best ensemble casts. I am watching the dance scene right now. I find it funny how the guys take a little longer to figure out that something is off with the dance. The Mom gets it right away. I LOVE how they all stand-by Olive and dance with her on the stage to support her. And yes, I do agree with you on children's pageants; there is no need to paint their faces and have them wear inappropriate outfits. Let them be children. This was a terrific ensemble; all the characters were terrific. He killed them with whatever means were available and he was in survival mode. Plus even with all he went through, he had showed compassion for Georgina and that almost cost him his life. They did not miss a beat with their opening show. Loved it! Totally agree. I thought the first episode was pretty good. I can't tell you the number of times that I saw friends, co-workers, etc. "un-friend" each other on facebook and the immature name calling. There is no middle ground ... my friends are either far right or far left. Personally I try to see other people's viewpoints. I may not always agree, but I will NEVER lose a friendship because of it. I doubt it. Plus the first episode had Jackie & Roseanne with different political viewpoints. Isn't that pretty typical of a lot of families? Not sure. I was born in '65 and it was very common for people my age to sit in the back of station wagons. There were no car seats in the back and we would be sliding all over the place.
