Can you imagine Whinielle sneaking into Silver's house and getting into his hot tub?
What would Silver DO to him as punishment?
Whinielle was too stupid to realize he was never in any real danger from Barnes.

Should the KK movies be watched KK1, KK3, and KK2?
Seems to make more sense... did someone make a supercut of the 3 films edited to have KK2 take place after KK3?

Originally Mike Barnes was a fan of Whinielle who became obsessed with beating him in the tourney.

But if you were on the streets of LA and encountered LA's Bad Boy Snake and Tournament Terror Mike Barnes you would be toast.

He was only becoming slightly less intolerable when he was under the tutelage of Terry Silver.
Indeed Johnny fell on hard times after the evil Miyagay and Whinielle came into his life but at least he's rebuilding his life and making something of himself.
No way that car dealership of Whinielle's is legit. Who sells cars by boasting about a tourney the salesman won 35 years ago? The business is a front for his LaPusso family's mob dealings.

There was a near 30 year gap between KK3 and Cobra Kai.
Silver didn't punish Barnes for losing too badly:
