Abagail Breslin Dakota Fanning Haley Joel Osment Miko Hughes That's quite a promotional for LPGA golf, I'll have to start watching some. I'm still technically a newlywed so I limit watching the PGA to the four major tournaments but I too have gotten weary with what I perceive to be a lack of respect by the spectators. Reading in the November issue of Golf Magazine I came across a short article where Chez Reavie mentioned seeing, "some fistfights, some drunken people throwing up on themselves." At a PGA tournament?? Appalling. Nicolas Cage and Jon Lovitz are especially good with Florence Stanley as their mom not far behind. Lately I've been thinking that Water World can't be as bad as everyone seems to think, so I'll be watching it soon. Hopefully, since there's a lot of older ones I keep running across. What Dreams May Come (1998) I think so. It grew on me from Okay to Fun. Scrooge (1951) with Alastair Sim is my favorite traditional Christmas movie. Trapped In Paradise is a good alternative if you're seen the traditional ones too often. Sounds interesting, I will check it out soon on Amazon Prime Video. I agree with how you feel, CinemaDemon. I haven't been for about 3 years and have no interest in going back. With so many movies I can watch at home whenever I want, pause when I want to, et cetera, why pay ridiculous prices to see a movie one time, without captions, and with a lot of the annoyances you mentioned. Once you get past the "gotta be first to see the latest movie" concept, it's easy enough to wait until it's available on some service at home. I was kind of interested in Zombieland 2 but all in good time. I used to eat liver sausage for variety's sake but it's been a while. Something else I've been meaning to try again. Liver sausage with mayo and Claussen pickles is good, also mustard and tomato. I've been thinking it's time I started to again. Been a long time. That sure does look like a spaceship; wow! Hope you're having a good vacation. Moving in illegally? Squatters? My ratings of what others watched (ones I've seen before): Texas Chainsaw Massacre 1974: 8/10 Back to Bataan (1945) 7/10 My Bloody Valentine (1981) 6/10 Been too long but remember it being pretty good Creepshow (1982) 8/10 Would love to see it again Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1931) It was good but I thought 1941's with Spencer Tracy was well done; it was interesting seeing him in that kind of role. My Ratings of what I watched this week (and a busy week it was): WITNESS (1985) 8/10 X-MEN II: X-MEN UNITED (2003) 8/10 MAN IN THE MOON, THE (1991) 8/10 X-MEN III: THE LAST STAND (2006) 7/10 MAD MAX 2: THE ROAD WARRIOR (1981) 8/10 GETAWAY, THE (1972) 8/10 I WAS A TEENAGE FRANKENSTEIN (1957) 7/10 KISS OF DEATH (1947) 8/10 And from one of the coolest episodes, too. Thanks! The Munsters all the way. Between Fred Gwynne and Al Lewis, there's just so many comic moments with the other family members giving great support. One of those great quotes that really helps define this movie. And a great intro that really starts the action rolling. I hate guys that think it's okay to hit a woman. Yeah the tripods were really a step up from the 1953 version. Deep Red looks interesting, I'm going to see if I can get to it this week. Maybe Razorback, too. Thanks for sharing, Mrmojo. My first time seeing it in ages, too.
