Hollywood is entirely run by jews. Few celebs who want to be in movies are going to say anything against jews, especially if they are not jews. He would do a photo shoot in Gaza if asked. Those are some good idea! What tanked the movie was the Flash actor and character. In the movie he was a jewish guy with a Woody Allen personality filled with self-doubt, etc. Meanwhile, Flash is a genius and thinks at super speed. So, they would have needed and actor like a young Jim Carry to play him. Weirdly, Ryan Reynolds could play Flash if he didn't have a history doing other things. Flash needs to be "speedy" and not some socially awkward jewish guy. A problem with Flash was making the character uncomfortable rather than cool and admirable. If you had a fun actor playing Flash as a quick witted and smart guy and you mixed him with a serious Batman, that would have been amusing and adventurous. I like Deadpool films but they are obvious comedies rather that serious stories with witty characters. So, when I watch Deadpool I'm always aware I'm watching a movie. Flash and Batman could have been way better than that. The Boys is funny if you like the type of humor. It's mostly psychological satire about types of people mixed with whatever you call "gore humor". If that stuff isn't your type of comedy, it will not be funny. I'm amazed by the number of people who think it's a serious program. That isn't a well thought out response. The Three Little Pigs is a story, but it's not a complex adult level drama. You can't have suspension of disbelief in absurd stories and certainly not ones where the actors are talking to the audience. As I've said, it's a comedy and the plot is just a vehicle for jokes. Did you ever watch The Boys on Amazon? It's the same kind of thing, it's a series of comedy skits with a loose plot to hold the skits together. I agree. However, the Blue Beetle came out and I had ZERO knowledge about that character and so an origin story is okay. He is pretty obscure for the general population so if they want to make a series an origin is okay. However, I thought that movie was dull. So, it might have been smarter to make an all out action film to get people excited and then have an origin story. Marvel has had a lot of losers lately and that's because they are using characters who are not famous. To sell them they need to have awesome and energizing stories first. Incorrect. The reason is that constantly discussing Marvel, the plots of movies where the character knows they are movies, jokes about Jackman, etc. The "breaking the third wall" thing in the movie makes it a comedy and not an adventure. A story needs to inspire "suspension of disbelief" and that isn't possible with a character like Deadpool. You know you're watching a Marvel Comic satire when you are watching the film with moments of action and adventure. There's zero stakes in such a film and you know it when watching. It's okay with little known characters or if the story is really interesting. I didn't mind that the first Captain America movie was an origin story. It's a good story by itself that a small guy with good values got turned into a superbeing. However, if they reboot the story in the near future they do not have to tell it again. Enough people have seen the marvel movies to get it. Wolverine is another character that I would watch an origin story about. It was sort of in one of the X-Men films but it was mixed in with other plots. It all depends on how famous the character is, for me. I liked it but it did rely on his medical condition a lot. Right when it needed to become extremely serious for the plot, it did. However, I'm a Keaton fan and would watch him in just about anything. I liked it but it did rely on his medical condition a lot. Many generations of people know who Batman is since the character has been around for almost a hundred years. So, what people want is a Batman action story, not to watch him workout, etc. For instance, people like Dark Knight more than Batman Begins because DK was as fairly high quality mystery and action movie about Batman. People who are 90 and 5 already know who the character is and want to see a fun and exciting story. I enjoyed the movie. It was like an ad for AI. I also thought it was something different for Lopez and she showed good acting skills. She was acting to nothing, likely sitting in a green room most of the time and her reactions seemed genuine. The movie is a comedy, not a drama, and so you are looking at it incorrectly. I see the film as being similar to Zoolander, which I enjoyed greatly. There doesn't really have to be a plot as it's a series of skits and jokes that are enjoyable if you like the humor.
