I actually thought it looked pretty funny, but ya never know with just a trailer. I think 1 is much better and a classic; 2 is alright and has some good moments. Guy will probably never butt in line again the rest of his life, if he survived that is. I don't know the demos looked pretty cool imo. I am a big fan of the books and games, but I feel like the majority of fans may be disappointed because we have preconceived notions from the games. We want that grizzled Geralt look and voice and Cavill, who is a decent actor, may not be able to pull off that type of look. The voice, he certainly won't be able to replicate. I know that the show wants to do their own adaptation, as they should, but I think they may get a lot of backlash for being too different than the games. People can say what they want, but the games put the Witcher World on the global map. I think it's important to go into this with the expectation that it will be much different than the world we saw in the Witcher games. I am hopeful that the series is successful is not just a GOT copycat as it has so much to offer. For me, my annual Xmas staples are always The Santa Clause, National Lampoons Xmas Vaca, It's a Wonderful Life, and Die Hard. Thought the trailer was fine. Endgame is a lame title, but whatever. As one user pointed out, it does remind me of Highlander lol. I expect Captain Marvel to be in it. Probably saves Stark?? Just rewatched this as I am doing a Rocky marathon prior to seeing Creed II and, yes, that scene probably is the greatest part of the film. Man, the music, acting, directing, and writing in this one are by far and beyond above the others. Such a great drama! I thought it was interesting how the trailer showed them all together; not what I expected. It looked good so I am hopeful that it will be great! I do not think it will be better than Unbreakable which is imo one of the best superhero films of all time, but I am optimistic. I am probably excited about this film more than any other in 2019. Morphing time I guess! I'm sure it will play a huge part, but they could have just as easily summarized it in about one or two lines in Avengers 4. Someone will probably ask "Where is Ant Man?" Response: "Well after that incident in San Francisco, he got lost in the quantum realm." Now it's all set up. I love this movie. It is my favorite PP story, but maybe that's because I am a big fan of Robin Williams. I know a lot of people do not like it and it does have a lot of problems, but I still thoroughly enjoy it every time I watch it. Not sure Netflix is worth keeping anymore. This was a huge attraction for me as well as the other Marvel shows. DD imo was better than the vast majority of mcu films. We can expect the other Marvel shows to be cancelled after their next seasons. Hate that there is multiple streaming services now each having a few good shows as I'm sure DD and co ends up on Disney's. Prince of Thieves is definitely my favorite although Men in Tights is a close 2nd. I agree. I thought this had some really funny moments. Russell's acting and the comedy in this was pretty good for a family film. Was an enjoyable Christmas film! That's a good point. Maybe Robin Hood needs to go away for an exceptionally long time. I did enjoy Robin Hood 2010, although I know the majority didn't, and I would have preferred a follow-up to that story rather than another new Robin Hood origin story. The whole movie just looked terrible from the trailer. Really not surprised. I just don't get how anyone thought this would work, but who knows, maybe it's a hidden gem! If it comes to Netflix, I'll give it a whirl. Creed didn't really make that much more than Rocky 6 overall. You kind of act like it's this huge discrepancy. Creed: 109 domestic (116 adjusted if you're being technical), 173 worldwide Balboa: 70 domestic (94 adjusted), 156 worldwide https://www.the-numbers.com/movies/custom-comparisons/Rocky-Balboa/Creed In the grand scheme of things, if you're just looking at box office results, it's only a discrepancy of 22 and 17. "We know the majority of tickets being sold are from African Americans who list there #1 reason to see the film is Michael B Jordan...." "theres a reason why you did try to answer this--- you have no answer for why The biggest number of tickets sold are from African American Whom all list Michael B Jordan as the #1 reason they are seeing the film...." -Source for largest tickets sold broken down by ethnic group? How do you know this is a fact? Sure more people went and saw Creed over Rocky 6. We know more tickets were sold and obviously it made more money and attracted new and old fans, but how do you know if someone went and saw Creed because they were a Stallone/Rocky fan, fan of MBJ, fan of a new take on the series, fan of boxing, retired and see every movie out there? I just think for Creed, the major draw in that film was Stallone/Rocky. Obviously MBJ and a new take on the story, instead of Rocky going to fight again, brought new people in and of course MBJ has fans. Rocky is old, we don't need to see him fight again, but it was interesting to see where his story goes. I do not think it would have been nearly as successful without him and possibly a flop, but there is no way to know this. You keep saying the largest number of tickets sold were from African Americans who only came as MBJ fans. Post some sources to back up what you say are undisputed facts please. I don't disagree with anything about Creed II. MBJ is a big enough star today to draw in large numbers with Stallone making as much as a cameo. Food has always been mediocre imo. Maybe it's just the one near me. Been there 3 or 4 times over the last decade and never really had a good experience. However their Thanksgiving could be great, I have no idea. I hope its delicious!! Agree. I enjoyed the "freshness" of Creed even though it has a lot of elements from Rocky just rehashed. I believe Stallone/Rocky has done some of his best acting in Balboa and Creed. I certainly believe that Creed wouldn't be as good without Stallone as it's a huge part of the story. No shame there. Personally, I wouldn't have picked Cracker Barrel, but that's just me. Happy Thanksgiving!
