I think this started out really good and then about 1/3 way in, the writers just became very lazy. I think they lost me when the killers were able to be everywhere at once. They were able to chase down the two experienced climbers, who were clearly running, dispatch of them, then backtrack to the other main group and find their specific location, while in between, find some poachers and kill them as well. Also, Let's not get started on the expert marksmanship.
Totally agree. Loved season 1, 2, and even parts of 3, but the latter half of 3 had a significant downward trend. Even that last fight with Rhas was pretty lame. Then came 4 which was awful and after the predictable and boring villain reveal of 5 I didn't care anymore and stopped watching.

Hmm maybe not. Star Wars has a lot of pull, but I am surprised they put it this close to Avengers. I think the biggest thing going against it is that we just had a SW film four months ago which was not well received by audiences. However, even a crappy SW film is able to pull in tons of cash so it will probably make lots of money as well. Now whether it will actually be a good movie or not is another question.
Season 1 is definitely worth it. Tennant steals the show and is imo one of the best villains Marvel has put on screen. Season 2 certainly suffers from lack of a good villain so you may not like it, but I would recommend season 1 to any CB fan.

I think it will be more like Avengers. Team up to beat the big bad except at the end of this one the Avengers are defeated and then in the next film they will need to regroup to beat Thanos. The major difference will be that this time around there will be casualties which will be nice to add some additional dramatic appeal.
In my opinion Avengers, AoU, and Civil War all really feel the same, but Avengers was just much better done in terms of action and story and I expect this to be on that level or even better because the threat level is so much higher.
It is not explained. I guess one possible explanation could be that Leia is extremely powerful with the Force and maybe saw Padme through the Force such as a vision or early memory during her birth. Padme doesn't die until shortly after both children are born in ROTS. It really isn't explained, but somebody could just draw up some Force hocus pocus to explain it.
Just finished it and mostly agree. Season one was much better and Killgrave left too large of a hole to fill. Surprisingly I was rooting for Carrie Anne Moss as well as she was great. I still enjoyed it for the most part, although Trish was quite annoying.
I'll be optimistic for season 3. Definitely looking forward to DD season 3.
I'm not sure if audiences are more attached to the characters or the MCU brand/formula. I think BP is good reflection that Marvel can take a relatively unknown character and make it one of it's most successful films in terms of income because people love the MCU brand/formula.
I disagree that DC doesn't care, in that, I think they need their main heroes on screen right now in order to get audiences excited or motivated to come to the theater. I mean we just had JL so I don't think they are looking past their staple of heroes. I think the introduction of the New Gods is another example of DC rushing everything. They were looking for some threat to the JL and in just two movies we have a plethora of new characters introduced instead of fleshing all of these characters out over multiple films. I think whoever is in control at DC, just has this mindset that they need to catch up to Marvel or get everything established as quick as possible which unfortunately has resulted in some pretty crappy films.

I think BvS was quite profitable as well. Didn't it hit around 800 or 900 worldwide? However, I don't believe it was anywhere near expectations and the same can be said for JL.
I enjoyed this version of the Punisher. It has some flaws, but it was entertaining. Not sure what that has to do with Batman though.
Tony in this one along with the most obvious Vision. Cap will probably go in the 3rd. My guess is that by the end of the 3rd one, many of the of the characters will be killed off.
It would, but they seem to love remaking films!
Probably get a remake instead of a sequel at this point :(
Agreed. I really enjoyed the film except for the ending battle and I think it's because it was just the same ole same old big bad repetitive fight that we see in almost every CB movie and it did draw the film out a bit too far. It would have been more interesting to keep Ares hidden until maybe the second or third film in my opinion.
DC should be embarrassed for how they tried to rush everything and it backfired immensely. I love the DC characters, but the BvS and JL stories were done extremely poorly. I mean if you're going to put Doomsday in BvS then at least make it a trilogy.
Irrelevant in what way? Sure in terms of $$$ they can't come close to Marvel right now, but they are still making money overall and they still have a large fan base. It's going to take at least 10 years and a hard reboot for them to win over audiences for their films. People need time to forget BvS and JL and for Marvel to slow down once infinity wars concludes, who knows maybe post infinity war MCU will not be as well received since they will be losing some major actors/actresses, although I doubt it as critics and audiences seems to love every Marvel film and the box office shows that.
