The main problem with the social conflict is that the people who do feel the slightest offense over a comment feel entitled to shut down a discussion by any means. Yes, everyone has a right to dislike an idea, but all we can do is counter a bad idea with a better one. Censorship only makes people defend their views more strongly, and it can make bad ideas fester in secret. I'm not surprised. Neighbors suck. I even tried to go to the mall a few years ago to be enclosed and insulated, but there were still bombs echoing from the subdivision nearby. It should be obvious that fireworks could trigger panic for veterans. I'll be dreading nighttime, wearing earplugs and staying away from the windows. If it's listed as Poor on trustpilot, it has to be terrible, because I'm convinced trustpilot takes payments to delete negative reviews. Whenever I look up another company that a sparkling reputation, I eventually see mixed or negative reviews on other consumer sites. IMDb has never been great or reliable, but it was much better when they had the moderated boards, best-of lists, games and simple audience reviews. Left Eye Lopes dying in a car crash. I was a huge fan of TLC in the 90s and it broke my heart. She was so young as well. Also Kobe Bryant. However, as soon as I heard they boarded a private plane, it was unsurprising. Too many tragedies and close calls involving small planes. In no order: - When people are nasty and sloppy in public: unwashed hands, using perishable items and putting them back on the shelf, changing diapers in common areas, littering, etc. - Bureaucracy. Having to make plans and sift through paperwork just to have an application sent in for anything is exhausting. - Members-only shopping or database websites. I do not want to share my personal phone number or address just to get details on a service. - When people relentlessly complain to a shop clerk or assistant thinking they can overrule a state law or policy by upper-management. - When people on the highway cross three lanes to make their exit within five seconds. - When people buy pets without studying the species or breed and then get rid of them out of boredom. Lots of society-based peeves on this thread. Can't live with people, can't live without 'em. For number 3, I thought those square suitcases were specifically labelled for under-seat storage. It's good to be very upset about that. Seeing this made me angrier than any pet peeve: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uD_9ilmsYKw I love a bargain but I've learned that some things are worth the extra cash, such as getting household staples at the smaller grocery store instead of waiting another hour to checkout at Walmart on a Sunday. Yes, a few of my shitty neighbors buy those. I also live in a state that allows fireworks any night until 11pm, so people usually set them off from June until September. I've heard "shots" into October and as late as 2am. I need to move out to the country. This reminds me of a Reddit story that I heard recently. An elderly man picked out a snack bar at Kmart that was on sale. He had a coupon that would have made it free. Unfortunately the coupon was two years expired. He refused to accept the facts and swung his cane around, destroying the checkout station and assaulting the cashier. He became violent over losing $0.99. Couponers can be crazy. I can't stand noise either. It's worse when loud noise doesn't follow a pattern. I actually have to wear earplugs in public a lot. Fireworks are among the top worst inventions ever. I hate that! Related: When people block the exit to chat. They can't seem to choose indoors or outdoors. Not trying to shame your choices, but there might be a reason for a person chewing with his mouth open. For example, my dad has a severely deviated septum. If he chewed with his mouth closed, he couldn't breathe. Gene Hackman. He owned every character he's played and chosen better scripts. And he played Royal Tenenbaum, my favorite comically dysfunctional patriarch. I like Caribou Coffee Sumatra. There's only one café left in my state, but luckily Target occasionally has it in stock. That was too much for me. I hated the guy purely on reputation, but when he was on screen, I couldn't stand him at all. Just one villain after another, when they already have plagues and famine to deal with. The Alexandrians and Rick's family deserved a long rest in a relatively safe life. Tom Petty slightly more. He had a range of themes to his music a person could hear and feel peaceful. John Mellencamp has written a lot of folksy songs about politics and working class struggles. Those subjects certainly have a place in music, but many of Mellencamp's songs make me feel depressed and uneasy, no matter how nice the guitar or fiddle sounds. I love that film too. Beautiful story with perfect casting. I have a feeling it will be a self-contained storyline. There might be references to the Warrens' previous cases, but there should be enough information in their interactions.
