Mister Babadook's Replies

Yeah it caught me off guard for sure, but it wasn't meant to be real, i just took it to be all in Lou's head cause she saw Jackie as some kind of super hero like The Hulk, then they go running off in a fantasy like way in the night, then it cuts to reality of them driving in a truck with a dead body in the back. The fantasy of it kind of took Lou out of the dark reality she was in, her mind just wanted to go somewhere happy. It would be one thing if it was meant to actually be real, then it would be awful, but it wasn't. Just so disheartening to see her like this and what shes been through when she was such a happy energetic child so full of happiness and always wanting to make people laugh. I hope she wasn't molested by Dan Schneider, but its hard not think something happened after seeing Quiet On The Set. Imo Dan Schneider sexually assaulted her, no telling what he did, but something definitely happened, one day maybe she'll speak out about it. When a child star turns out like this its usually a sign they was molested at a young age by a sick Hollywood predator. Agreed. The moment on Euphoria in season 1 when she unveiled her huge tits Hollywood was like "WHOOAAAHHHH WE WANT HER!". Same way Alexandra Daddario suddenly had a career after her nude True Detective scene, thats all it takes for Hollywood. Which Kennard wouldn't have been so bold to even make a move on him had Omar not been limping around showing how hurt he was, so imo it was his physical condition that took him down. He showed he was a wounded man and not on the top of his game. Lol ok bud. I have no issue with black people, but don't change the race of characters for the sake of diversity. I mean i wouldn't want them to change the race of Henry and Sam who was black in the game to white characters. I wouldn't want them to change Blade into a white character. Stay true to the source material. The two leads so far seem to be straight, each are having sex with men. Jodie Foster's daughter is a lesbian, so far thats the only one its shown. Regardless if he's innocent, he still assaulted multiple officers and escaped from prison, they aint just gonna let that go cause he was innocent of his initial charge. He's now guilty of assaulting officers and escaping prison, pretty sure thats a couple of years in prison at least right there even if he was innocent of the crime he was sent there for. Yeah the setting was just way too similar to the Homicide Unit, and when you would go from scenes at Homicide over to the newspaper it wasn't giving you any variety in characters or setting, just another group of suits in cubicles. It just made me groan whenever it would go to the newspaper cause its just basically Homicide with characters we've never seen before and who are less interesting than the other group from Homicide. The docks was a vastly different setting with vastly different people, the school was a vastly different setting with vastly different characters, and yeah the political stuff was more people in suits but it was different enough there wasn't cubicles but its also my least favorite theme after the newspaper they focused on. There needs to be a good pace of going to different settings to keep it fresh so you don't get overloaded on one, from Homicide, to the streets, to whatever the new theme of the season is, but going from Homicide to the newsroom just felt like the same thing and it got boring. Yeah and from everything i've heard about it, it didn't work. Yeah i never really thought about it like that, putting us in the perspective of the kids speculating, i really like that now looking back at it with that in mind. Yeah great episode, and really creepy, and one of the few episodes that actually kills a kid in it i believe, was really dark for a Nickelodeon show. But again as a full length movie i just don't see it working. Yeah the water had been shut off cause the bill wasn't paid is what i took as what happened. Yeah its a good watch, the kids are great in it, and it doesn't hold back you see kids getting killed, kids killing parents, its a wild movie and perfect to watch for Christmas if you're into Christmas horror. I mean i never said an actor was at fault, just pointing out how the movie ripped this idea off. "Mom And Dad" is decent, its played with a bit more of a comedic tone than this movie though, essentially Nicholas Cage being Nicholas Cage while trying to kill his kids. And i said i would understand him acting that way, when he's 100%. I don't care what kind of reputation you have as a bad ass, if you are seen limping around on a crutch barely able to move you should maybe think someone will see that weakness and maybe have more balls than usual and make a move on you, especially when the gangster running the entire city's drug trade has a hit out on you. I would think Omar would've thought about that and not been so reckless. Bro as others have said the director himself has stated this was a rejected Star Wars script, its not fans making the comparisons, this was legit meant to be a Star Wars movie lol. Betting you feel kinda dumb right now lol. Yeah she made the one jump, then refused to take any further risk while everyone else took them for her and gave her a free pass. Then she has the audacity to act as if shes a big loyal team player the next game and Mai is a terrible person who isn't a team player cause she chose to pick Ashley for potential elimination. I will say Mai should've explained into more detail why she chose Ashley in the next game, feels like she didn't really elaborate on exactly why she chose her that well. But the others should've known if they wasn't blind.
