ugly? repulsive? lmao what are you? black? eh i found it a little boring and i only got better near the third part of the film. I noticed the director with this and his newer film Taekwondo (2016) where there is awkward pausing and literally no dialogue for most of the film which kinda let me drift off from the film and like Takewondo didn't make me feel connected to any of main characters. i also found it boring and wasn't a fan of the camera work. But i did enjoy the story. Yeah the animation wasn't good. Even the 90s X-Men series was animated better (especially after season 2) 90s Rogue was by the far the best, in terms of animation, story, voice, personality. Evolution's goth Rogue was unlikeable and this version's Rogue was boring Yes they seemed easier to beat in this, then the Animated Series. Kirby i found him to be pretty annoying in the Animated series and ok in this. I preferred him in Evolution he was abit more of a leader and more interesting. Found it pretty overdone especially after seeing it in the Animated series. Honestly quite bored of Jean Grey even though i like her powers. Gambit and Rogue relationship similar to the Animated series i prefer that AS Rogue to this one, who was pretty boring. Haven't read the comics but would like other x men characters other than the major X Men we always see. Joyride (S2), Walk on the Wild Side (S2), No Good Deed (S4), Middleverse (S1) and Blind Alley (S3) were pretty boring and filler episodes. Cruise control (S3) was also filler, but i actually enjoyed it, strangely Jean Grey for me telekensis and telepathy. or power like Reality warping like Proteus on the Animated series. Haven't read the comics, but i prefer Animated series' Rogue. So feisty and the relationship dynamic with Gambit was one of my favourite parts of that series. He reminded of Jubilee in the Animated series. Pretty much a filler character and both annoying. I liked both. Evolution had better finale episodes and was overall tighter plot wise than Animated series, but i found the characters in AS were fleshed out better and sympathized with them more than Evolution. Pretty much the AS blew all its counterparts in Evolution away with the exception of Wolverine (liked both versions, although wasn't a fan of Wolverine's voice actor in Evolution). none of the animation in Evolution really made the guys attractive imo. Gambit from the animated series was far better looking than the Gambit in Evolution (the scene in the original series, where Gambit was wearing speedos. Welp.) lmao when i first watched that episode i honestly thought it was Amara and was wondering why she was dressed like that (when she was up in the tree staring down at the other X-men) Gambit, yes. Didn't really care for Colossus though. i found his shtick pretty cute actually Yes he is character was one of my favourites. His anti-hero views were refreshing for this series.
