Indeed. I hear ya. My friends and I would make Ninja stars out of cardboard and black electrical tape and throw them at each other. I'm surprised no one lost an eye. lol. Yeah, for a kid in the '80s, obsessed with ninjas and martial arts films, The Cannon Group really supplied the goods. Can't imagine my childhood without them. Rad Solarbabies My Best Friend Is a Vampire Moving Violations One Crazy Summer How I Got Into College Student Bodies The Wraith Cannon Ninja films (Enter The Ninja, Revenge of The Ninja, Ninja III, The Domination, American Ninja) I Come In Peace (Dolph Lundgren) Retroactive This movie is great. Great soundtrack, setting, characters, Sherilyn Fenn is crazy hot, ect. Hope it gets a NA blu ray release at some point. Any "Coming To America" fans? The barbershop scenes and church scene with Mr. Randy Watson and his band always crack me up. Nay, and I wouldn't even take a copy for free. Most disappointed I've ever been over a movie. I really liked Black Panther, but The Winter Soldier is still the best MCU film, IMO. This post was deleted because it seems that the 9-year-olds from the school have been...karate-ing it. Elizabeth Shue Jennifer Jason Leigh Naomi Watts Kirsten Dunst Zoe Kazan It just shows that if a director is going to do a trilogy, he/she needs to direct ALL of the films to ensure that they actually fit together. There are some occasions where someone steps in and manages to keep the series on track, like ESB, but I think Lucas still had the final say on where the story was going. Imagine if Peter Jackson did "Fellowship of the Ring", and then he handed "The Two Towers" to Michael Bay. That's how this this new Star Wars trilogy feels. I can't rewatch it either. It also ruined TFA for me because of just how terrible they connect, or don't connect I should say. I'm pretty sure that Ruin Johnson didn't even watch TFA, except for the final scene, which was obviously required. I like "The Wedding Singer" better. I want to see Finn wake up after being injured by Kylo Ren, and have TLJ be a nightmare he had. Poe: "Finn, you're awake! We didn't know if you'd make it." Finn: "I had the worst nightmare... Luke Skywalker was squeezing boobs on an island." Poe: "Squeezing boobs??? What the hell kind of drugs did you assholes give him?" Give a spare key to your place to a friend or family member... "guard it for me, Big Buns." It should've won "Shittiest Movie of the Year", and Hamill should've walked out and slapped the shit out of Ruin Johnson for destroying his character. And then he should've squeezed Ruin's boobs and glared at him. Disagree. Freddy's Dead is probably the worst film out of all the other franchises combined. Freddy's Dead <<<< Jason X < Halloween: Resurrection Part 2 by a hair, for me. I love both of these films, but part 2 is just classic Friday the 13th to me. The authentic camp setting, the councilors in training, Paul's campfire ghost story, Crazy Ralph, and Ginny (Amy Steel) is the best final girl, IMO. Part 4 does have the better Jason, IMO, though. An often overlooked thing I like about this film is just how much effort was put in by everyone involved in the film. If you listen to the commentary track with JLC and JC you find out how everyone pitched in on costuming, set design/dressing, lighting, ect. This was truly a labor of love by the cast and crew, and it definitely shows in the final product. Nope. He's made the list of directors that I will no longer support. I actually had two make my list this year: Rian Johnson - Killed Star Wars David Lynch - Ruined Twin Peaks
