I agree, I laughed everytime he was on, he is so underrated as an actor! I thought he stole this film from Wahlberg tbh. You can't even do that with IMDB anymore. Who would've thought that both video rental stores and IMDB boards would go extinct? My country has uniforms for either Colleges or Universities but I'm not sure if the US has such a thing. Thank you, I don't have any info on the investigation of the crash. LOL, I really doubt that! The family chose him that's why and LDP is an underrated actor actually. I don't care I thought LDP was fantastic in this! Yeah, it's Alive for me too. I always think of that film and planes. I first so that film at an airport lounge waiting for our flight. He definitely looked younger than 25 and Esai. Middle Easterners can be white. It seems like an older type of film, that modern Western audience may not like, perhaps it should be better promoted in on Western countries who are more open minded about films? Or maybe it's the Western World that currently exists? There is very strong religious faith in other countries and I strongly believe Islam will eventually become the dominant one. In Star Trek Data and the emergency hologram units were modelled after their creators. Wow, thank you so much for sharing that! What a heartbreaking thing to go through. I guess we will find out in the sequel. I agree, it would've been nice to have had that link to associate the past assassins with their future descendants but I think they wanted to show that an ancestor and a descendant not only don't have to look alike, they may also be of different ethnicities hence despite Spaniard assassins their descendants could be East Asian or Black. I enjoyed the 1400 Spanish setting and characters the most tbh, and perhaps this would've been better if they focused on the past more. I imagine the sequel will focus more on the present which is the less appealing part. I like Fassbender and though I'm not a fan of the game, I'm not a gamer, when I read the reviews, I skipped this at the theatres. I just saw it yesterday and agree, it's not as bad as it's made out to be. I liked it actually enough. 6/10 I think. I like the 1400 Spanish setting and language spoken gave it atmosphere, but the film was too confusing on many segments. I think they should release a director's cut to the original intent of 2 hours and a half. Perhaps it would fix the many problems this film has. It confused me as well, I thought his ancestors and elder assassin ghosts really visited him, lol! Maybe the film really should've been 2 hours and a half because it was too confusing on many points. I agree, her reaction to the killing of her father was strange. She saw Cal and knew he was going to try to retrieve the apple and endanger/kill her father yet she stood still, letting it all happen, not warning anyone. And then, once the deed was done, she made an about face swearing vengeance for her father's death. So why did she let him die then if it was not what she wanted? One of the elder Assassin ancestors definitely looked like her so there might be some revelation on it if there is a sequel.
