What is one talent that you have that you would like to share with the board? A skill/sport/hobby/game that you're particularly good at. And if you're someone who has been here a long time maybe something that nobody knows yet.
I can play the piano. I taught piano as a side gig for several years.
ONCE UPON A TIME I WAS A SOLID THREE POINT SHOOTER....COULD SINK IT FROM HALFCOURT FAIRLY REGULAR TOO...SHOULDER INJURY HAS KEPT ME FROM SHOOTING A BASKETBALL FOR ABOUT A DECADE NOW.
shareThat is impressive! I tried out for the basketball team but didn't make it. My sporting strength was in running. The gym teacher would put me with the boys to do sprints and I won the 50-yard dash on field day. They tried to get me to run track but I never wanted to and I've always wondered what could have happened if I had.
shareI have several hidden talents. They are so well hidden that I don't know what they are. By the way, you should participate in the Moviechat movieclub group watch tonight at 9 pm Eastern. Several of us watch the same two films together and comment as we watch and then there is an optional zoom get together after. Kowalski and Ali, sslssg, Stonekeeper, Vince, tcrum, FredB, Shogun, myself and a couple others often participate. It's fun!

Unfortunately staying up late is not one of my talents and my brain starts turning to mush around 9:00 p.m. I'll keep my eyes out for what movies are being shown though and maybe I'll join sometime. I do worry a little though. My posting style in general is to be somewhat silly (and chatty) and I wouldn't want to risk annoying the others or even insulting someone if it's one of their favorite movies. I tend to look at life, including movies, from a very unusual angle.

I do wake up very early. As far as being very old I guess it depends on who you ask. I'm in my early 50s so to some I'd be ancient and to some they'd wish they could go back to my age.

When my better half told me that's what she grew up with, I thought less of her family.
I had to look it up but once I read the description it reminded me of carroms, a game I used to play with my grandmother before she passed away. When I would visit her in the nursing home that was what she wanted to play and she played to win! She was very good at it.
